HAMPSHIRE COUNCIL 13034 MISSION STATEMENT
To promote the growth and development of the St. Charles Borromeo faith community, in unity with the Holy Trinity, consistent with Christian doctrine, and the tenets of Columbianism: Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. The brotherhood formed by this council will work for and are dedicated to: the greatest glory of God, the strengthening and advancement of the family, united in support of the Church, parish, pastor and all of its members. All programs, charities and endeavors will be consistent with these beliefs.

Practically speaking we do the following;

For the Church, we are Priests, Deacons, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, and ushers. We work on the Capital Campaign; serve as Compassionate Ministers and we are active in Light of the World and the Cursillo retreats.

For the Community, we lead the fight to protect the unborn and raise money for the mentally handicapped. We built the computer lab and library in our grade school. We also rebuilt the Church balcony and supplied and installed the new Church doors. If our pastor needs help with a project he can always count on us.

The Fourth Degree or Sir Knights is the highest and most prestigious degree within the Knights of Columbus. We provide honor guard to local churches for special Masses and ceremonies, for example, Confirmation and Corpus Christi. We provide honor guard for the Holy Father when he visits this country.

We financially support causes addressing religious, civic and educational needs especially vocations to the priesthood.

We sponsor programs that promote respect, knowledge and protection of our national flag. We promote legislation to protect the flag as the symbol of the nation and its history. We promote programs that encourage love of country and support the application of Christian principles at all levels of government.

As of this year, our council now has twenty members of the distinguished Fourth Degree including our Pastor.

Yes, we do all this and more.

If you are male, 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing please come and join us.
