Wishing everyone happy and safe Holidays!

Wednesday, December 25 and January 1
Thank you for the many, many food and personal care donations to the Burlington-Hampshire food pantry. Our Eeligious Education program always does a top-notch job with the Corporal Works of Mercy!
Congratulations to our second grade students who will receive the gifts of grace and forgiveness from God when they celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Friday, December 13!
This year, the students had 3 weeks to prepare for their first semester tests and prayer quizzes. Test results will be emailed to you during December. The actual tests are sent home with the children for you to view.
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS and PRAYERS to LEARN…
can be found at the parish website, www.scbparish.org Click on the tab for Rel Educ Program, then click on the Homework tab.
We know how to prepare our homes as we await the birth of the Messiah. How can you prepare your heart for this wonderful Gift from our Lord? Participate in our parish’s Advent Communal Service on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:30pm. 5 priests will be available to hear confessions.
The students in grades 3-8 will participate in Advent Reconciliation services between December 4 – 15.
When we return from Christmas break, there will be some changes as to which class session precedes the other, Sunday or Wednesday. This is important to know when preplanning an absence so you know if your child should come to the session before or after the absence to make up the missed material.
Sunday sessions where material is covered before the Wednesday session:
1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th grades
Wednesday sessions where material is covered before the Sunday session:
3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th grades
If the absence cannot be preplanned, i.e. illness, then just send your child to the next session, regardless of the week day.
